I am located at 277 Main Street in Northampton, Massachusetts, directly across from the Academy of Music, a 120-year-old theatre and beloved city landmark, and next door to the Edwards Church.
I share an office suite with Dr. Mark Karpel.
Outside the building, you’ll see a door (indicated below) with both of our names and the address. Please come up to the second floor, turn left and you’ll see a sign for the waiting room.
There are two restrooms on the second floor. You will find a key to the restrooms just inside the waiting room door.
Getting There
From the North
Take I-91 south to exit 20. Merge onto North King Street/ US Route 5. In 1.8 miles, turn right onto Main Street. The office is 0.3 miles, or four blocks ahead, on the right, just before the Edwards Church and across the street from the Academy of Music.
From the South
Take I-91 north to exit 18. Turn left at bottom of exit ramp onto US Route 5/ Pleasant Street. Turn left again at the traffic light onto Main Street. The office is 0.3 miles, or four blocks ahead, on the right, just before the Edwards Church and across the street from the Academy of Music.
From Eastern Massachusetts
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike I-90 west to I-91. Go north on I-91 and follow the directions above for approaching Northampton from the south.
From the Berkshires
Take the Massachusetts Turnpike I-90 east to I-91. Go north on I-91 and follow the directions for approaching Northampton from the south.
Metered parking is available on nearby streets, for up to two hours at some meters.
Longer term parking is available at the Northampton Parking Garage at 85 Hampton Avenue, about three blocks from the office.
Handicapped accessibility
The building that houses my office is unfortunately not handicapped-accessible.
In some case where this has presented an obstacle, I have made other meeting arrangements with clients.
I am willing to discuss this possibility with prospective clients but, given time and travel considerations, can only do so in a limited number of cases at one time.
